THE KINGS OF THE UNIVERSE

Collaborative documentary project.

This photographic project, developed in Barcelona since May 2024, is alive and in the finalization phase.

It began upon meeting Irina and Luis living on the street. They constantly explain their relationship with their crises and reunions, which are universal in any relationship. These are common situations in the experience of living together, but when placed in a hostile environment like the street and its cruelty, they put their lives to the test.

How can one love in a hostile territory?

The project proposes looking at that relationship from within, addressing the issue of living on the street and maintaining a couple, the only family left.

What would have happened to us and our families in that same environment? What would have happened to us without even having a family?

After two years of working together, the project is in the finalization phase, with the intention of sharing it and turning it into a social action tool for Irina, Luis, and all the people who live on the streets of Barcelona.
